Treasure had a great season, it is too bad ND basketball fans will not get to watch him this winter. Toja was the top player for NLBA. He is very long and a super athlete. Treasure does everything on the court and is a 3-level scorer. He drained triples, cleared the boards, protected the rim, scored with putbacks, and completed AND1s. Toja threw down often and had to have averaged a dunk a game. He also slammed home impressive alley-oops. He was outstanding as a slasher and while elevating over the D for buckets.

Toja was the engine of Next Level Basketball Academy’s team. The 6’8 wing has the skills of a guard and is the nightmare matchup for opposing defenses. Toja is a lethal three-level scorer; from the perimeter, you can’t leave him open, as he was knockdown from three this past weekend. He’s got a quick first step and the length to finish over defenses once he gets into the second line of offense. Toja is a very unselfish player and almost seems to favor playmaking on the drive. With his size, he’s able to play and guard a multitude of positions, and with his skills, he can fit almost any role a coach would want to put him in. 

Treasure is such an intriguing long-term prospect in North Dakota’s 2027 class. At 6’7-6’8 he has plenty of length, and moves so well at that size out on the perimeter. He’s quick laterally, has the handle to create instant offense, and can catch fire from out beyond the arc. Against CRCTB he drained three after three to keep his team ahead in a tight game, eventually coming away with the win. You don’t find many players with his combination of size, mobility, and shot making ability.

Treasure’s name has been buzzing this spring and I was able to check him out for the first time on Saturday. He is a very long 6’7” guard prospect that has a handle and a silky smooth jump shot. In the majority of the game I saw, he was playing point guard, bringing the ball up the floor and making things happen for his team. His team’s offense revolved around him, as Toja shot and made a lot of pull-up jumpers and was able to work downhill where he could draw fouls or convert on a tough finish.

Treasure was one of the best long-term prospects I saw all weekend. He showcased impressive potential on Sunday, combining length, agility, and perimeter skillset that made him a mismatch nightmare. Throughout the game he knocked down five threes, with a handful of those coming off the dribble where he was able to create space with ease. Treasure handles the ball in a way you rarely see in guys his size, with impressive agility to match. Outside of the flashy baskets, Treasure stood out with his vocal leadership on the floor. He was always talking on defense and hyping his teammates up after every basket.
