Bennett is one of the most interesting guards in the entire region. The 6-foot-1 guard is long and wiry, but he has a wonderful handle and a feel for the game well beyond his years. He has a bounce and confidence in the pick and roll—he can get all the way to the rim, make shots from three, or find rollers in the pocket—but he can also play effectively without the ball. Bennett also has budding athleticism at the rim (he gets above the rim for dunks) and is going to look A LOT different in a couple years. Sky is the limit for him.

Bennett is a really shifty and skilled point guard who I hadn’t heard of before I watched St. Sebastian’s game against Proctor during the Prep Showcase. But the lefty point guard is super tough to stay in front of and makes really good decisions for himself and his teammates once he gets into the lane. He has great discernment in the pick and roll and a nice looking shot, but the sophomore looks like he still has a lot of growing left to do. Bennett is part of a young, talented core at St. Sebastians that should make some noise this season.

Bennett, a member of the 15u 3SSB squad, is a creative lead guard out of St. Sebastian’s School in Massachusetts. One of the better on-ball defenders in his class, he’s so good moving laterally and has such quick hands, that it’s incredibly difficult for opposing guards to initiate offense. Once he creates turnovers, he does a good job of pushing the pace and getting out in transition, where he balances creating for others with an attacking mindset as a ball-handler. He can get to his spots off the bounce in isolations, turns the corner consistently out of ball screens, and makes high level passes on the move. He’s a true floor general and a definite prospect to monitor going forward in the Class of 2028.
