has been a key piece for a talented Blue Ridge squad. He continues to demonstrate why he’s a guard worth tracking in the 2027 class. Huang plays with excellent pace and poise, consistently making smart decisions with the ball in his hands. He’s particularly effective attacking downhill, using changes of speed and direction to break down defenders and get into the paint.
Huang is also a very strong ball handler and facilitator, doing a great job putting teammates in positions to succeed. One of the most impressive parts of his game, however, is on the defensive end. He’s an aggressive on-ball defender who competes on every possession and handles ball screen coverage well. After playing with Local Legends last year, Huang will be another guard to watch this spring and summer closely.

is a perfect example of that. He has great size for an on-ball guard, real flare as a playmaker, and a well rounded skillset to work with. He is strong, able to play through contact both at the rim and in the open floor. He can make catch and shoot threes allowing him to be useful away from the ball. He can physically bully smaller guards when matched up, and is a presence on the glass in the backcourt. Huang has a lot of trust from his coaches, they often give him a ball screen when something needs to happen offensively. Expect Huang to continue to string together quality performances the rest of this season, before taking a leap in his game at some point really soon.

Huang did a superb job running the show for his team on Friday night in their win over Greenfield by managing the game at a high level. His ability to spread the ball to his talented teammates, call his own number when needed, and hold his own defensively was exactly what his team needed to get the win. Huang is capable scoring from all three levels, has great positional size, and is clearly comfortable playing in structure as well as being able to let loose and make plays in the open floor. Expect Huang to stack more and more games just like this for Blue Ridge all season long.
