Parker is one of the strongest frontcourt prospects in Minnesota. When he was able to catch on the block, defenses were just about forced to either double team him or foul him. Parker does a great job of establishing deep post position before the ball even comes his way, and provides a big target making it easy for his guards to get him the ball. From there he was able to take one or two dribbles to get right under the basket, and then power up to finish.

Parker is another post prospect to watch on this MN Rise 17u team. At 6’7 and 250 pounds, Parker is a physical presence inside that not many high school bigs can compete with. He has the ability to establish low post position without the ball, making things easy when an entry pass comes his way. Good touch with the left hand to score with baby hooks over the top. Showed good footwork early on in the game against Minnesota Select , getting his man in the air before stepping in for an easy finish.

Parker is an imposing physical presence in the paint. Coming in at 6’7 and 250 pounds, opposing forwards didn’t stand a chance against Parker when isolated on the block. He could back guys down into deep position, and then just turn over his right shoulder for a left handed baby hook. Plays with physicality, but does a nice job of not just barreling over guys and picking up charge calls. Parker keeps the ball high when guards try lunging in, and he did a nice job of kicking it out when double-teams came. Someone who’s going to provide a constant rebounding presence on both ends of the floor.
