Truscott is a high-energy prospect with a relentless motor. Needs to refine his shooting mechanics, specifically centering his shot and aligning his footwork. I view Truscott as a Swiss Army tool; he is an accurate shooter in catch-and-shoot situations and an excellent playmaker. Can play on or off the ball and loves to play in transition. Fearless driving to the basket and has a nice touch around the basket. Like his pull-up game coming off screens and in the mid-range. Has kept adding layers to his game and refining his technique. Tough defender that makes you uncomfortable, doesn’t give you space, and contests shots.

Truscott had a solid showing at the Expo as he played with a fire throughout the day. The 6’1 guard set his feet before he shot and was able to knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Truscott used his handle to get to his spot during the 3-on-3 sessions and moved well without the ball in his hands. He worked hard on the defensive end and was able to find his open teammates in the half court. Truscott is a gritty guard prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor this winter.
