Yandel was one of the flashiest guards at the event, and brought some creativity to the floor when the ball was in his hands. You never really knew what he was going to do, as he has an endless array of moves to turn to off the dribble. Soler could pull up for an outside shot, or freeze his defender with a hesitation move before blowing by to get to the rim.

Soler showcased his speed and playmaking ability as a reliable guard for Team 12. With deceptive footwork and ball control, he kept defenders guessing while pushing the pace end to end. His understanding of when to create for teammates and when to attack himself gave his squad balance on offense. Soler’s blend of quickness and IQ made him one of the more dependable playmakers at the showcase.

Soler had an impact on both ends of the floor. His quick reflexes and lateral quickness allowed him to stay in front of opponents all day. He really set the table for team 1. He showed a high level understanding of when to score and when to play make. His silky smooth game left a lasting impression on me.
