Potthast really stood out with his defense. A physical guard that really makes you work for it on-the ball. He also excelled at reading passes, which led to numerous steals and transition points the other way. Buried a corner 3-pointer at the buzzer of the opening game. But despite that, he showed great unselfishness throughout.

Saw in early morning game on Saturday. Solid frame that uses strength to his advantage. As an undersized forward, uses smart physicality underneath on the glass or getting to the rim. Fought on the floor for loose balls and plays with hustle and grit. Lead all scorers with 10 after first half.
