Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a very strong defensive player, reading my opponents and fighting for rebounds. On offense I am scrappy, hardworking, and will do what it takes to get the ball in the hands of the teammate who can finish. I do well on teams that pass a lot and play as a unit. I am versatile and can shoot well from the outside and can score in the paint.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am hungry for the win and will outwork anyone. I am very even-keeled and do not get flustered if the team gets down or those around me are losing their cool. I have a passion for basketball and just love every day I can be out there playing.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I go to a honors/gifted school for highly achieving academics and take only honors and AP level courses. I am active at school as a trumpeteer in the student band, am a lead prosecuting attorney on our mock trial team, and am also the middle school B team basketball assistant coach.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am a team player and am always lifting up my teammates. I lead by example, always arriving early to practices and staying late to get in extra work. I enjoy serving as a role model to the younger kids at the school and coach their team and get involved in their extracurricular events.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am only a Freshman and exploring my opportunities, but am most interested in a school where I can play basketball and also receive a fantastic education. I am open to all sizes and locations of schools, what is most important is the culture of the team and campus.
