Damari is a speedy guard with some length at 6’2 who was at his best on the defensive end of the floor. He worked to pressure the ball hard against opposing guards, and his length helped cause some issues when they looked to drive against him. Came up with a big block right at the rim as a 6’3 guard looked to take him off the dribble. He added in a tough pull-up three from the top of the key in the second half.

Damari was fun to watch go to work with the ball in his hands. He has a tight handle and a deep bag of moves he can go to, beating his defender off the dribble with ease. I saw him make a nice move where he got downhill for a tough finish through traffic. Sperry showed a lot of promise as a lead scoring option and ball handler at the freshman showcase.
