Panther Showcase: Top Shooters

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a great day of basketball on Saturday at the Panther Showcase at Pinckneyville High School.&nbsp; PHI was there for all nine games of the event.&nbsp; We continue our examination of the event all week including here in <strong>Panther Showcase: Shooters</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2815704' first='Nolan' last='Tabor'] (Greenville - 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Liked what we saw out if this 6'3” shooting guard.&nbsp; The senior has a quick and consistent shooting stroke from beyond the arc.&nbsp; Poured five of them in during the first game of the day for 15 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Adam Parcel (Martinsville – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Parcel kept Martinsville in their morning contest with his shooting from distance as the senior wing banged in a trio from deep along with a mid-range jumper for 13 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2422253' first='Max' last='Russell'] (Mounds Meridian – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Russell opened eyes as a 5'10” guard that can play on and off the ball.&nbsp; Plus shooter that drained three triples in a loss.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2751229' first='Michael' last='Organ'] (Centralia – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Organ is a sophomore that is the ace floor spacer for the Orphans.&nbsp; The lefty two guard hit a couple of big ones in their win against Waltonville.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2334406' first='Kyle' last='Cooper'] (Waltonville – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cooper is a junior combo guard who has always been known as a shot maker and he did just that at a high level in the early going as he poured in three triples.&nbsp; Very good shooter off the catch that can also mix in tough mid-range pull ups as he had 14 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2826271' first='Maddis' last='Fearn'] (Mascoutah – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fearn put his name on our map with a strong showing for Mascoutah.&nbsp; The freshman 5'10” point guard was lights out from the perimeter with his shot making as he poured in an array of threes for 15 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125637' first='Jacob' last='Fuller'] (Glenbrook South – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fuller is a floor spacing big man that did just that in their loss against Desmet as he hit a couple threes.&nbsp; He is working on rounding out his game, but his shot making from three at his size is a huge asset.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2815741' first='Ethan' last='Stewart'] (Triad – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stewart caught fire from three as he made four of them in their win over Carbondale.&nbsp; The 6'2” combo guard moves well without the ball netting 16 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2823684' first='Nolan' last='Keller'] (Triad – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Keller also shot it well for Traid dropping three triples in their wing en route to 9 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
