About Addy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am usually a shooting guard, and I try and take shots anywhere I can, but mostly find my points on the blocks. I am left-handed, so I have a very big advantage.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very aggressive when it comes to blocking, defending, stealing, as well as driving in to the key when I can. I am very encouraging to my teammates, and opponents.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in golf - Top 50 in the country, 2nd in the state of Colorado and 2nd in Poudre School District. I have received the Jordan Award twice, The I Am 3rd award, the Ultimate Cougar award 4 times, and Diligence and Character, all for RCS.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am the leader for the RCS FCA, and serve for AJGA golf tournaments, as well as Grace Upon Grace Project in Loveland Colorado.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have Vasovagal Syncope, which is a sudden drop in heart rate and blood pressure leading to fainting, often in reaction to a stressful trigger. I have had to always watch my water intake and watch how I am feeling on the court while playing at a high intensity level.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has great academics, and really good sports, whether it be for basketball or golf.
