How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hard nosed defense. Inside physicality with an outside game. Very versatile can play inside/outside. Very knowledgeable basketball IQ.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very quiet and mostly sits back and watches to make sure to not make the same mistakes as others. Born leader.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Involved in 4-H, middle school president, church youth group.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Natural born leader. Involved in many church led activities such as cleaning ditches, raking the town, various church functions. Leader of every sport involved in such as basketball, baseball, track, golf. Work as a team with all groups of kids/peers and lead by example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At various times, being overmatched by older peers. Played varsity basketball as an 8th grader and physicality was a struggle in some games but worked to make changes on how to accomplish the team goal.

What type of college are you looking for?

Would love to play basketball at any level but the ultimate goal would be a 4 year D1 college.

Coming off an impressive freshman varsity season where he averaged 10.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and earned All-Conference honors, Colton continues to show why his future is bright. What makes Colton stand out is his smooth, instinctive offensive game. He’s a fluid catch-and-shoot threat with deep range and a smooth release, while also moving extremely well without the ball as a smart cutter and finisher. Beyond scoring, he impacts the game with hustle, defensive anticipation.
