Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
Making the trip down from the Scranton area with his NEPA Elite squad, Antoniacci took a narrow loss but still managed to stand out with arguably the best individual performance of the night. The prolific guard put on a show from long range in a 119-110 setback, pouring in 31 points while displaying his limitless range and advanced mechanics to get balanced off the bounce or on the move. Antoniacci continues to add to his athletic package and coinciding dribble-drive game as well, showing he could acclimate nicely to playing against the type of speed and athleticism that he doesn’t typically see in his local area. He’ll continue to attract high-major attention heading into another summer of playing up on the 17U level in AAU.

Despite some struggles with his shooting efficiency on a tough diet of shot attempts, Antoniacci put on a Herculean effort on his way to 36 points in the season-ending loss. Facing heavy pressure for 94-feet the entire game, he was relentlessly aggressive in pursuit of any sliver of space beyond the arc, shaking free for a whopping 20 attempts and knocking down five while displaying wildly advanced footwork and balance to create relatively clean looks despite multiple defenders often in his airspace. He stayed active as a cutter and getting out in transition for easy buckets, showing continuously evolving athleticism as a finisher near the rim. Antoniacci also flashed with his instinctive hands on the defensive end. He continues to profile as a budding high-major prospect as his calendar flips toward AAU season.

Making as much noise as any prospect in the state so far this season, Antoniacci is averaging over 30 points per game while getting Riverside off to an 11-1 start. He kicked off the season scoring 53 points in the first half (!!) of a blowout win and has barely looked back from there. Antoniacci is proving to be one of the more dangerous shooting threats both in the state and in his class across the country, but has impressed with his added punch off the dribble and growing poise as a playmaker while continuing to come into his own physically and athletically. With multiple high-major offers added so far this winter, things are trending up for Antoniacci heading toward a potential state playoff run.

Coming off a standout freshman season, Antoniacci has used this spring playing on the 17U level to establish himself among the top rising prospects in the state. Philly Live figures to be the most eyes he’ll have on him in a high school setting for some time, and we’d expect the skilled and poised modern guard to meet the moment if his track record up until this point over the past year is any indication. Antoniacci is one of the elite shot-makers in the state with a dynamic stroke off the catch or dribble that sets up a consistently growing game off the bounce. He’s shown growth this spring as a lead guard, learning to leverage his scoring gravity to make simple plays for his teammates. Penn State has already extended an offer with other high-majors figuring to at least peek his way in the coming weeks.

Not many prospects in the entire state have made more noise this spring than Antoniacci, whose scoring exploits while playing up two age groups have generated increasing buzz across the region. Back with NEPA’s 2026 group after shining on the 16U level last year, Antoniacci physically looks like a different player and the dividends have begun to pay out in spades. Despite the older competition, he looks effortless while working to his spots while keeping defenders consistently off balance with the threat of his ever-dangerous pullup stroke. Penn State became the first high-major to offer, doing so in April, but doesn’t look like it’ll be the last at the rate Antoniacci’s going.

Antoniacci once again proved that he is one of most accurate long-range shooters in in the state. Over the weekend Antoniacci had the Spooky Nook facility buzzing as he splashed 9 threes on his way to 41 points. Antoniacci’s ability to pop triples off the bounce was especially impressive. In addition to lacing threes, Antoniacci displayed fantastic point guard skills. He frequently created off the bounce for himself and teammates. Antoniacci also did a tremendous job of recognizing double teams and moving the ball to the open man. An underrated part of Antoniacci’s game is his ability to play through significant contact.

Antoniacci has already made waves with his play this spring, playing two years up for the second straight year and picking up a high-major offer from Penn State after his standout Pitt Jam Fest showing a few weeks back. Despite a hard-fought loss to WeR1, the precocious guard was the best player on the floor for extended stretches, bending defenses with his airtight skill level and lethal jump shot. Growing and developing physically at a rapid rate, Antoniacci is as refined a pullup shooter as you’ll find at this age, and showed further growth on Saturday with leveraging his shooting gravity to make simple plays for teammates when he draws extra attention. It should be a fun next few months as Antoniacci continues to mature his game, with the potential to pick up further high-major attention in the process.

After his monster weekend at the Pitt Jam Fest, it should not be a surprise that Antoniacci received an offer from Penn State. In Pittsburgh, Antoniacci torched opponents with his three-level scoring and was on every scout’s standout performer list. During the 2024-25 high school season Antoniacci averaged 20 ppg. and was the Scranton Times Regional POY.

Antoniacci continues to blossom on the big stage, no moment was too big for the Freshman who was playing two divisions up. He was comfortable getting to an array of different spots off the dribble. He scored several shots from behind the arc. He frequently was able to make decisons on the move when he was on the attack. Antoniacci doesn’t get sped up and plays at his own pace. I like how he plays even keel throughout the game. He showed that he could find his teammates regularly for scoring chances. He is tracking as one of the best guard prospects in the state for his class.

Antoniacci is one of the most accurate long-range shooters in Pennsylvania’s Class of 2028.This past season he averaged 26 ppg., posted a couple 30-pieces, and knocked down 73 treys. Thus, it should not come as a surprise that earlier this week Antoniacci drained 7 threes on his way to 23 points. With his quick release and logo distance range, Antoniacci popped a couple triples before the opposing defense could even get turned around. His ability to use a head / ball fake followed by a side dribble into open space was impressive too. Antoniacci also proved he could operate as a primary ball handler under extreme pressure.
