High School Spotlight: Brownstown Central Braves

The season is still a month away, but with practices happening, it is the perfect time to start previewing the season. In this series, we will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and notable games for the upcoming season. The 6'5 guard has been a key piece in what Brownstown has built over the years and had a true breakout year last year during the Braves' state championship run. He is a pure scorer at all three phases of the floor and creates so well off the dribble for his skill position. The offense will likely go through him a ton this year and his numbers will see an obvious increase. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1297005' first='Colby' last='Hall']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jeremiah-bellamy/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Make no mistake, [player_tooltip player_id='1297005' first='Colby' last='Hall'] is a top player for this Braves' squad and will be one of the best big men in the southern Indiana region. As far as why I have him as the potential breakout player is because on a bigger scale, this could be the season that he finally gets noticed at a higher level across the state. Hall has always been one of the more versatile big men we have in the state and has been the main guy down low for Brownstown for the past few seasons. With multiple players looking to step up to replace the production of Jack Benter, this sets up well for a true breakout season one of the states top scoring big men.
