PH California was at the USA Basketball National Jr Camp. There were about 85 prospects who competed at the high level event at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, October 11-13. The class of 2026 has some good ones.

Caleb Holt 6'5 Guard, Grayson HS, from Huntsville, Alabama: At first glance you see speed and athleticism in the shooting guard who gives effort on both ends of the court. He's an efficient shot maker from mid-range out past the 3point line. He has quick exchange dribbles, one move using that quick twitch usually gets him by defenders. Early on he showed some facilitation from the top, patience, vision, and good decision making. He can go get a bucket off ball, in transition going forward he's hard to contain. There's some efficiency putting up shots long and short. He's a top notch defender, who'll also hit the boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2370748' first='Jordan' last='Smith'] 6'2 Guard, St. Paul IV Catholic HS, Washington, DC: A solid body guard with superb handles, speed and strength to get to his mid-range jumper, with lift and efficiency from the elbow, paint, transition, and other angles. At 6'2 he's a rebounding guard, who pushes, and handles with speed, he'll make the long pass up court. He's a passer who can get the assists, at this point he looks more like a bucket getter, and a top defender who can stick to his man.

Caleb Gaskins 6'8 Forward, Montverde Academy, Melbourne, FL: He works well around the basket, using one or two dribbles attacking from the short corners, along the baseline, facing up from the high post or turning using a dribble and strength to finish with dunks, and lay ups at the rim. He had good effort going after offensive rebounds, he'll haul them in on both sides. He has touch from the short corner, and free throw for jumpers. He'll change and block shots. He has the size, muscle, and movement to match up with the best bigs on the court.

Dylan Mingo 6'4 Guard, Long Island Lutheran HS, Farmingdale, NY: We saw a versatile player in Mingo. Square shoulders, long arms, handles and passes well in transition, or run the court filling lanes for transition buckets, he's a high flyer will finish with dunks. He made moves along the perimeter using a good first step to get by defenders, sometimes splitting defenders. His lengthy arms, foot speed and lateral movements allows him to pick up full court, stay on ball, and stop defenders from penetrating the paint.

Cameron Holmes 6'6 Guard, Millennium HS, Goodyear, AZ: A good all around athlete that contributes in different ways. He has good play around the the basket, active with good finishing moves around the rim, throw in some touch for short jumpers, along with a floater, he can power up and finish strong through contact. He's a good rebounder who can handle the rough stuff inside. He'll get it and go in open court after rebounding with good passing, he's a good ball handler, and ball mover, with good cuts to the basket. He has good foot work, lateral movement, and size to defend multiple positions.
