Here's a lost of names who caught my attention from Team 3 at the Prep Hoops Illinois Expo.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617382' first='Dominick' last='Hale']

Hale did a great job getting up and down the floor. Making plays both offensively and defensively in transition. He was also an effective rebounder defensively. Knocked down a pair of difficult shots in the latter part of the first game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617444' first='Rasim' last='Johnson']

Johnson played with outstanding energy. Super quick to get up and down the floor in transition. Creating easy buckets. Adds a strong jab-step that could really force defenders off their game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617426' first='Marshall' last='Brooks']

Brooks showed off a very smooth touch around the rim. Without the ball, he does a great job setting screens and avoiding silly fouls. Keeps plays alive on the offensive glass, too. Like his size for a 6'3” combo.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617381' first='Dominic' last='Boyd']

Boyd's a lengthy 6'3” wing who forced tons of misses defensively and even picked up a couple blocks. Offensively, I saw a solid ability to space out on the perimeter and get guys involved as a passer. Drew lots of fouls, too. Got hot as the first game went on and hit three consecutive midrange jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617433' first='Moses' last='Wilson']

Lengthy forward made an impact from the start with an aggressive and-one conversion followed by a forced turnover. Almost converted a slick spin layup later on. Started to stretch the floor and buried a 3-pointer to open the second half. 6'5” Waubonsie SF was probably the most impactful player in the opening game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617420' first='Luis' last='Umana']

I liked Umana's ability to break off several double-teams in the first game. Made some excellent decisions with the ball and stayed efficient throughout the game I watched him. Wasn't stuffing the stat sheet. But also didn't do nothing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617432' first='Mickeis' last='Johnson']

High-IQ guard made some terrific reads on the defensive front while watching him. Part of a group of guards who loved to push the tempo in transition. Leading to lots of assist opportunities. Broke off a double-team for an and-one conversion early in the 2nd half of the first game.
