Cascade
Dalton DuBois | 2018 | 6’5 F
DuBois played a really good game against the much smaller Southmont team. He scored 19 points and added eight boards. He showed an ability to shoot the long ball and he was able to show some really nice turnaround jumpers. He’ll be a pretty viable D3 post player who can bang around and also stretch the defense.
Benson Walker | 2019 | 6’6 PF
Walker is still a little raw as he doesn’t have that much offense yet and he’s a little slow reacting sometimes but he will rebound the ball really well and will clean up with points off the offensive boards. He scored 14 points and didn’t miss a shot in the game.
Michael Alderson | 2018 | 5’9 PG
Alderson ran the offense really well and was able to get to the rim and draw the foul with ease. He scored 13 points and added seven assists while grabbing a couple rebounds. Alderson got ot the line six times and made 11-of-12 from the line. He’s a very viable high school point guard.
Southmont
Cam Chadd | 2018 | 6’2 CG
This was the worst game I’ve seen Chadd play. I know he can be good but in this game, he didn’t create with the ball at all. He passed well and showed his court vision but in crunch time he needed to create and simply didn’t. He had 12 points on 5-of-17 shooting with eight rebounds and I am going to chalk this one up as an off game offensively for him.
Justin Howard | 2019 | 6’2 SG
While Chadd didn’t play well, Howard did. He had 13 points and added a few rebounds and assists. Howard was able to drive to the rim and score consistently when he tried to get into the lane. Howard is a long and lanky guard who also defends well.
Ty Williams | 2018 | 6’1 SG
Williams looked pretty good as he didn’t have any turnovers and he scored 13 points. He was able to score better than any other player for Southmont and also pulled down a game high nine rebounds. He struggled from deep but was really good at the line.
