Ramos, a sophomore out of Central, spent the winter leaving no doubt that he was the state’s top underclassman and finished it by leading his team to an appearance in the Open State Tournament championship game. The 6’1″ guard might be the state’s top on-ball creator and does a great job of playing at different speeds, manipulating the defense, and then setting up his teammates for easy scoring opportunities. He’s crafty with the ball in his hands, can score it in a variety of ways around the rim, and continues to improve as a perimeter shooter. Defensively, he makes a difference with his ability to create turnovers and is elite when he can get out and make plays in transition.
