Asay might have an opportunity to put up some crazy numbers. With his shooting ability as a solid foundation Asay could easily come into a program and spread the floor. He also does more than shoot as a solid defender but also a player that can put the bal on the floor. He has next level athleticism. He is a big 2 guard at the next level and could impact a program right away. Good shooting ability as he works hard and smart to get open looks and he also attacks the rim with force. He could have a monster year this season. He has good size as a lead guard and he is another small school talent. His first step is quick and he can get going down hill in a hurry. The thing I also like about his game is that he can hit the breaks and have the balance for a pull-up midrange jumper. He has a solid catch and shoot jumper from beyond the arc and he is a just a tuff kid. He will likely he have to be more of a lead guard at the next level, but he has the skill set to play at a small school for sure. Look for him to have a big senior year. If you are a D2 put your name in now. This kid at 6'6 has that hybrid wing/forward style of play. He can stretch the floor with solid shooting. He also has great mechanics.
