Maverick Curl-Okafor Maverick Curl-Okafor TX has been showing great improvement since I first watched him play a few years ago. During the Adidas 3SSB circuit, I had the opportunity to witness him play against Sin City Select. From the very beginning, Maverick displayed an aggressive and determined demeanor throughout the game. Offensively, he showcased his slashing ability, converting a significant number of plays and finishing effectively despite the traffic in the paint. Within the offensive flow, he demonstrated his ability to move without the ball, cutting to the basket where his teammates were always ready to pass him the ball. In transition, Maverick capitalized on open lanes by running the floor, resulting in multiple lob looks. Defensively, he was a force to be reckoned with, crashing the glass multiple times and securing numerous rebounds. Overall, Maverick’s performance in this game was impressive, as he finished with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.
