Adidas 3SSB Impact Players On The Rise

The Adidas 3SSB Session III event in Bryan, Texas, was an enlightening experience for me. I witnessed the comparison of multiple prospects from across the country in a single gym with eight courts. In this article, I'll be discussing four impact players I had the opportunity to evaluate during my time in Bryan and who are poised to make more waves this upcoming fall. Troy Tominna is a 2028 guard for Gamepoint 16U that made a significant impact on his team throughout the 3SSB circuit. On the defensive end, he demonstrated impressive quick hands, effectively stealing the ball from opponents due to his on-ball pressure and dedication to the defensive end of the floor. Offensively, he occasionally made good passes which contributed to the team's offensive flow. When scoring, Troy showcased his versatility, converting points on all three levels. He can attack the basket in the half-court and transition, finding gaps in the mid-range to pull up and shoot three-pointers off the catch. [player_tooltip player_id='2869639' first='Maverick' last='Curl-Okafor'] has been showing great improvement since I first watched him play a few years ago. During the Adidas 3SSB circuit, I had the opportunity to witness him play against Sin City Select. From the very beginning, Maverick displayed an aggressive and determined demeanor throughout the game. Offensively, he showcased his slashing ability, converting a significant number of plays and finishing effectively despite the traffic in the paint. Within the offensive flow, he demonstrated his ability to move without the ball, cutting to the basket where his teammates were always ready to pass him the ball. In transition, Maverick capitalized on open lanes by running the floor, resulting in multiple lob looks. Defensively, he was a force to be reckoned with, crashing the glass multiple times and securing numerous rebounds. Overall, Maverick's performance in this game was impressive, as he finished with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. Adrian Galloway is a standout wing player for Lakeshow 17U in the 3SSB circuit that demonstrated his impact on both ends of the court. Regardless of his position, Adrian consistently makes hustle plays that boosts his team. His athleticism shines when he crashes the glass for rebounds. Through multiple defensive possessions he showcased his defensive in the paint and perimeter. Defensively, he transforms defense into offense, creating transition opportunities for Lakeshow 17U. Through his game, I've come to understand that Adrian is a player driven by a strong desire to win. Emmanuel Oyesanmi is a 2028 guard for D1 Minnesota that had an impressive performance in a game against Dream Vision. He finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds, demonstrating his ability to create transition opportunities. Oyesanmi frequently ran the floor, leading to dunks and layups for himself. In the half court, he attacked off the bounce, using his athleticism and frame to get into the paint and score. He also showed the ability to finish plays with contact while driving through traffic. Notably, Oyesanmi had more offensive rebounds than defensive rebounds, highlighting his offensive contributions in second chance opportunities. Throughout my evaluation, I've seen great upside in Oyesanmi as a rising junior.
