His athleticism and instincts allow him to carve up the defense when he wants to attack, and you have to respect his ability to splash in shots from beyond the arc. On the other end of the court, he causes turnovers and isn’t an easy guy to get around. All in all, he put his versatility on full display, and he’s definitely got the potential to keep developing into an even more dangerous player.

Austin is a very versatile player with great size and athleticism that oozes potential. He is a point forward type that can score or initiate the offense. He has a great handle that allows him to get by defenders and to he bucket. He finishes above the rim and will do so with power. He gets to his spots really well and likes to hit one dribble pullups in the midrange. He can bring the ball down and create for others and has good vision in the open court. Defensively he can guard multiple positions and often gets blocks with his quick twitch jumping ability.

A two-way athletic guard who can impact the game on both ends of the floor. He’s comfortable playing on or off the ball and has a quick first step that allows him to get downhill with ease. He absorbs contact well when finishing at the rim and has shown the strength and versatility to defend multiple positions on the court. With Higley set to lose seven seniors, he’s expected to take on a much bigger role heading into his sophomore season.
