2026 Rankings Update: Top Newcomers I

PH NorCal has updated the class of 2026 Rankings. In this group we ranked them as the top newcomers to enter the rankings. NorCal has a good number of prospects who can play at the next level. We are always out and about looking for new prospects to add to our NorCal Watch List and Rankings.    Siaisiai comes into the top 25, because of his size and growing skill set. He's a long 6'7 wing type prospect that runs the court well. He has the size in the post to defend, and alter shots, and rebound. He can be a target with post ups and paint jumpers. He also looks to put up 3's along the perimeter when he finds himself open with a good look.     We found him to be a versatile prospect with a good understanding of how to play. He can play multiple positions. As long as he gets touches he'll make a play. He can facilitate up top, good passer. He can get buckets from different areas on the court, he'll finish inside, drop mid-range and 3pt shots.     We got our first look at Franklin during Section 7. He's a defender, he's aggressive going after rebounds from the guard position. He might be a combo guard with good ball handling and passing. He's a strong driver into the paint, handles contact. He can hit paint and mid-range jumpers.     Wright comes to us from Arizona, we saw him play in the Spring with the Oakland Soldiers EYBL 16 Team. He's a long wiry type, stronger than he looks. He was active, and bouncy around the rim hunting for rebounds, and put back points, he'll go after blocks. He's a bit on the raw side, he'll rim run, and defend inside with effort. He's got a nice frame to fill with long arms.     He's long, wiry, probably still growing, and filling his frame. He'll do different things on the court. At 6'4 with length he'll work the boards on both ends for the Monarchs. He's a good passer, moves and cuts well while working his way into the paint. He can use his dribble to get closer for paint points. He has lateral movement, with long arms to guard on the perimeter and post.     Early in the Spring we saw a solid body prospect with good vision and passing working from the high post, sometimes facilitating up top, using his dribble to attack the rim. He had strength to get buckets inside playing 16U. He's a strong body who'll get minutes defending in the post, using his dribble to get closer for paint points, and power moves. He'll rebound, run and finish strong around the rim.     He's a good ball handling combo guard who was effective running the teams offense in half-court sets. He involved mates, fed the post. He was good on the drive and kick, or taking it all the way challenging defenders around the rim. He hit the paint jumper, dropped a 3ptr when open along the perimeter. He pushed, passed and finished in transition. He'll help rebound.
