This is my second time this year being able to put eyes on Ethan and I was able to watch him more in depth at this camp. He has recently transferred from Altamont (AL) to IMG, which should help his development over the next couple of years. He is a heady PG, but questions will surround the 5'7 height. Despite his size, he is a talented PG who does a good job orchestrating. He has good court awareness and court vision and does a good job getting his teammates involved. Ethan can do a little bit of everything at the lead guard spot and is dependable across the board and on both ends of the floor. He provides a guiding hand as a floor general, and I look forward to his development as he starts IMG this year.

Quianel was wearing the #212 in camp, the temperature at which water boils, and Qui was boiling at camp. He is a two-way threat who impacts both ends of the floor. He is a multi-level scorer with a lot of craftiness in his game off the bounce and when finishing at the rim. He has a deep bag of offensive tools and had the bag fully open as he put up numbers and helped his teammates to eat as well. Defensively, he has instincts and is disruptive at the point of attack. Qui commands the game, demands to be trusted with that responsibility, and looks poised to have a good run leading Harmony over the next four years. The height could be called into question if he does not grow much more, but for now, I encourage him to handle the things he can handle, and that is improving his game daily.

If I were doing my sniper school article for day 1, Isaiah would definitely be in the article and would probably be the face of the article as he proved that he can absolutely stroke the rock. He was one of the best shooters I saw the entire day, and as he prepares for his freshman season, he will be a player who can keep the floor spaced for his squad with his presence on the floor and threat to knock down the long ball. The problem when looking at his game for the future is the question of how much more will he grow over the next couple of years.

Fortune started off slow, then got it going and showed everyone watching why his name should be mentioned amongst the best competing at the camp. He is a wing with a smooth offensive game when the rock is in his hands. He is a talented scorer who is highly fluid with the rock and is really good at creating opportunities off the bounce. Fortune has a mature floor game, and you can see his overall game is all coming together: The pull-up 3s, The midis, the drives, the drive-and-sprays, and what really shocked me was his usage of the glass with his mid-range shot. His game is emerging into being able to be the engine of his squad's offense. Fortune has to make sure that just as much of a willing scorer as he is on offense, he has to be just as much of a willing defender.

Every event I attend, I like to find a player who proves those wrong who says you have to score a lot to get noticed. Well Jordan proved that statement wrong with his ability to stay within the things he did best on the court. He still has a lot to add to his offensive game, but the things that he did best were rebound and challenge shots. He is only 6'0 but has a nice wingspan and good timing on his jumps. He did not deviate much from his strengths, and it is because of staying within his role he impacted the games and stood out amongst his peers.

Quinton was one of, if not the most athletic and best player in the camp who I saw on day one. He has positional size and makes plays all over the court. As good as he is as a scorer, I was really impressed with his unselfishness and willingness to create for his teammates. Quinton is a legitimate three-level scorer who creates his own shot, can shoot it and put it on the deck, operates well out of ball screens, gets to his spots when it comes to his middle game, and is a tough finisher at the cup. Many on the sidelines were talking about his scoring prowess. Still, it was his really good vision and court sense of where everyone was on the court and the ability to control all the motions of the game when the ball was in his hands that was the most impressive part of his game. This was my first time watching Quinton compete, so I am not saying he is not efficient, but I do want to see him put up more efficient numbers from behind the arc.
