Wiry-strong frame allows him to absorb all sorts of contact and finishes extremely well around the hoop. Didn’t need to take a ton of jumpers but when he did, shot it at a high percentage. Strong rebounder for his size and really pushed the ball up the floor after grabbing the board, making the right reads and passes in transition to teammates for easy scores. Munns was one of the top scoring threats we saw on the Cascade Kings 16U squad, especially with his ability to get downhill into the lane and finish through contact. His perimeter shot was good enough to keep defenses off-balance as his bread and butter were the physical drives to the hoop. He was money on the free throw line as well.

Talented wing scorer, lead the Titans to the a league title & the state playoffs. Earned all league honors along the way.

The sophomore had a breakout season with West Salem, not only leading the Titans in scoring but emerging as one of the top bucket-getters in all of 6A at around 19 points per game. The guard showed the ability to score at all three levels and was very efficient in his shot selection and decision making. He plays with a toughness and confidence not often found in younger players.

Emerging as the top sophomore in the Salem area, Munns has elevated his game in 2025-26. The hard-nosed 6-foot-1 guard is by far West Salem’s top offensive threat, capable of scoring at all three levels and getting to the free throw line. His no nonsense style attitude has fit right into the Titans physical and defense-oriented style of play.

Munns impressed us with his poise and confidence, maintaining his composure even when his team was down. He has a soft shooting touch, can stretch the floor, and combines athleticism with a strong work ethic. A guard who competes on every possession, he looks like a steady presence with room to keep growing. (AG)
