Nova Village put up a great fight on Sunday against Indy Heat in the platinum tournament and Roark was creating a lot of offense for his team. Able to score in isolation settings, Roark plays with a ton of confidence and isn’t afraid to launch away from way downtown. As a group, Nova Village moved the ball well and weren’t afraid as they built up a double-digit first half lead before falling by three points in the quarterfinals.

It’s very rare for a freshman to lead a team in scoring but Roark got busy this season averaging 16 PPG and having eight games over 20 points. A high volume perimeter operator, Roark likes to attack off the dribble and either pull-up or get to his spots in the mid-range. Not many freshman had more of a green light than Roark who fired away 211 times from 3-point range, just under 10 per game! Excited to see how Roark rounds out his game and how his prolific 3-point shooting ability translates when surrounded by other talented players.
