Smoak played like he had something to prove. The physical swingman attacked from all angles, scoring from the perimeter, mid-range, and at the rim. His strength allowed him to absorb contact on drives, and he consistently found ways to finish through traffic. He also created his own offense by rebounding and pushing the ball coast-to-coast, putting pressure on defenses in transition. Smoak knocked down threes when given space and flashed the tools to be a high-level defender with his length and mindset. A tough, competitive wing.
