The hard-playing highlight maker is the tone setter for the 5-0 Woodland Wolfpack. Thornton has done it all, averaging 21.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3.3 steals. The swingman is a terrific athlete with a great nose for the ball. He does an exceptional job hunting rebounds and is a dunk waiting to happen in transition. Most impressive thus far has been his consistency from beyond the arc, a small sample size but 4-7 from distance. Thornton’s motor and growing offensive game will start to draw college attention. The junior is having a breakout season.
