Galli mostly made his mark as a jump shooter during his lone year in the U.S. this past season at Hill, but showed signs down the stretch of diversifying his offensive attack. Playing out the early AAU season as an unsigned senior, the native of Italy has kept that momentum going, dominating for stretches on Saturday morning without having to attempt a shot from the perimeter. Looking a bit trimmer and fleeter of foot than when he first arrived last summer, and certainly more up to speed with the American game, Galli routinely found his way near the front of the rim after navigating off the bounce whether in the halfcourt or open floor. He also showed a willingness to use his size to hit the offensive glass for easy buckets. Continuing to stand out and improve with each viewing, Galli will have a chance to earn real D1 attention during the upcoming live period.

Galli really came on strong down the stretch of the season for the MAPL and PAISAA runner ups during his lone year in the U.S., and should cement himself as a scholarship-level forward as more coaches get eyes on him over the next several weeks. A native of Italy, he brings a versatility and feel for the game that’s customary of the European game, along with an elite skill in his ability to space the floor at a high level from the arc. As he continued getting more accustomed to the American game, he began showing more comfort operating off the dribble and using his size to make some plays defensively. Galli is a safe bet at the next level for scholarship-level programs looking for a plug-and-play stretch forward, with the chance to even impact the right D1 program that places a value on his shooting and IQ.

320 to 183…This native of Italy was a tremendous addition to the Hill School lineup this year. During the 2024-25 season Galli operated as a stretch-4 prospect and his contributions grew with each passing week. Then in late December Galli exploded for 35 points (5 triples) during a win over St. Andrews (RI). That fantastic performance established his name on the Pennsylvania recruiting map. In February during Hill’s defeat of Lawrenceville Prep, Galli poured in 27 points on the strength of 7 made threes and grabbed 10 rebounds. Galli is an extremely polished prospect with a high IQ. In addition to popping treys, Galli can produce points out of pick-n-roll action, from the dunker spot, on the fast break and off the bounce from the wing.

Improving seemingly game-by-game through the course of the season, Galli proved to be a driving force as Hill finished runners-up in both the MAPL and PAISAA tournaments. A classic stretch forward by way of Italy, he made his greatest and most consistent impact as a prolific floor-spacer in the frontcourt whether picking and popping in the halfcourt or trailing to spots in transition. Galli grew more comfortable and aggressive as the season progressed, incorporating more of a slashing attack off the bounce and using his size as a mismatch scorer inside. His production, skill level, and intensity should have him on the boards of scholarship-level programs looking for frontcourt help in the late signing period.

Coming on strong down the stretch of his post-grad year stateside, the Italian forward was a consistently effective source of offense for Hill on his way to a well-rounded 19 points. Known mostly as a perimeter threat, Galli did knock down three shots from deep, but he really impressed with his work inside the arc. He showed an ability to take advantage of bigs closing out on him by attacking off the bounce for strong and crafty finishes. He also showed nice comfort as a shot-maker and passer out of the midpost area. After coming over to the U.S. just this past fall, Galli has placed himself firmly on the radar of scholarship-level programs with his blend of skill and physicality.

Last week I spotlighted Galli as a prospect to watch in the upcoming PAISAA state tournament. Well, Galli did not even wait for that tourney to tip off before making me look good. In Hill’s first round MAPL tourney win over Lawrenceville (NJ), this polished, high IQ stretch-4 prospect knocked down 7 triples on his way to 27 points. Galli also grabbed 10 rebounds in that win. That impressive scoring outburst should not be a surprise as earlier this season Galli poured in 35-points (5 triples) during a win over St. Andrews (RI). In addition to popping treys, Galli can produce points out of pick-n-roll action, in the dunker spot and off the bounce from the wing.

How this polished, high IQ stretch-4 prospect remains available is a mystery. Galli is an elite shooter who can pop jumpers from all over the court. With his size and instincts, Galli can also produce points out of pick-n-roll action, in the dunker spot and via the offensive glass. Galli’s solid handles and crafty moves enable him to score off the bounce too. Once he gets to the cup, Galli can finish through contact. As a bonus to his scoring, Galli is a fantastic passer and tenacious rebounder. Earlier this season, Galli poured in 35-points (5 triples) during a win over St. Andrews (RI). More recently, Galli dropped 22 points son Legacy (TX).

– 6’6” / 2025 / Hill School / Power Forward: Galli was one of the biggest stick risers in our updated Class of 2025 rankings and after his 35-point explosion in Hill’s win over St. Andrews (RI) we expect that trend to continue. Galli is stretch-4 prospect with a highly accurate three-point shot. That skill set was on full display in the victory over St. Andrew’s as Galli connected on 5 of his 6 three-point attempts. Galli’s fantastic instincts, smooth finishing skills and underrated foot speed produced several transition buckets too. With his size and polished moves, Galli (13-16 FGAs) also generated points off one or two dribbles. College coaches will love his creative passing skills.
