Griffin, a forward out of the Westminster School in Connecticut, jumped 20 spots to finish at #52 in the rankings. The 6’9″ forward is an impactful defender, showing the ability to guard multiple positions and to protect the rim at a high level. He’s a twitchy athlete and quick second jumper, which, along with his timing and instincts, allows him to be one of the better shot blockers in the region. He plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor, is a relentless two-way rebounder, and does a terrific job of running the floor in transition. Offensively, he dunks everything around the rim and shows a good feel for rolling out of ball screens. He will head to Alcorn State in the fall to continue his playing career.

The Alcorn State commit impressed with his versatility and impact on both ends. He used his 7-foot wingspan to dominate the glass and anchor the paint defensively. In transition, he ran the floor well and finished above the rim and caught numerous lobs. His length and timing allowed him to block a three-point attempt with authority, and he showed touch by knocking down a spot-up corner three.

Griffin is a tough, physical forward committed to Alcorn State. He brings relentless energy on both ends of the floor. Known for his ability to rebound and defend, he sets the tone with his gritty play. Griffin’s presence in the paint makes him a key asset for Alcorn’s frontcourt.

Griffin has been making a name for himself on the circuit with Riverside this season. He’s proving to be a big-time presence inside, controlling the paint on both ends. His strong play has led to him picking up Division I offers. Griffin’s stock continues to rise as he establishes himself as one of the top interior prospects.

Griffin is an active forward who makes a killing on the interior. He scored inside and did a nice job taking contact. He made a handful of trips to the line. He plays with an athletic burst and out muscles opponents. Griffin is effective as a screen & roller and has strong chemistry with his guards. He was able keep offensive possessions going with his rebounding and found shooters hunting shots off the ball. Griffin is a prospect who should be getting tracked by low major programs.

Ethan Griffin Ethan Griffin 6'8" | PF Westminster School | 2026 State New E was having his way on the interior and attacked the rim all day long. He had multiple slam dunks when given the ball in the post, highlighted by a thunderous throwdown on a defender who was trying to contest his shot. He was also effectively driving to the paint, pulling off multiple layups through contact when given the ball at the top of the key. In addition, he rebounded well, got on the floor for steals that showcased his hustle, found teammates in transition for easy scores, and even hit a corner three which resulted in a terrific all-around performance.

Griffin is an exceptional catch-and-finish player, known for his ability to capitalize on passes with precision. His impressive vertical leap allows him to rise above defenders and make strong plays at the rim. Consistently scoring on the inside, Griffin combines his athleticism with effective positioning to secure high-percentage shots. His ability to finish in traffic makes him a reliable and dynamic presence around the basket.
