Nwami led with his energy for [program_tooltip program_id='2075790' first='Playground' last='Elite']. He proved to be a high level hybrid defender, providing ball pressure on the perimeter and also protected the paint very well. His team benefited greatly from his quick feet and active hands all weekend. His energy on defense led to the other side of the ball as well, as he capitalized on shots around the basket and countless visits to the free throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2426909' first='Darion' last='Purifoy'] - All Wisconsin

Purifoy led with his defense over the weekend for All Wisconsin. He anchored the paint in a major way in zoning situations, and was able to switch onto guards in man to man. He wields surprising speed to go along with his length. What was also impressive was his toughness when looking to score through contact around the basket.

Dylan Nowak - Green Bay Black Mambas

Nowak was versatile at the forward position for the Green Bay Black Mambas. He served his team well protecting the paint and snatching rebounds. He was a reliable target when guards were under pressure, he was able to attack the paint a great deal and get to the free throw line. His motor and efficiency really stood out to me over the weekend. (F)

[player_tooltip player_id='2447405' first='Renny' last='Malano'] - Next Level Basketball

Malano was a reliable playmaker on both ends of the floor for Next Level Basketball. His length and mobility made for high level on and off ball defense. He covered a lot of ground when attacking the basket and did so with confidence. What really stood out to me was his activity on the boards as he was able to end and extend possessions for his team.
