There is no better event on the calendar from an evaluation or recruiting standpoint than the annual IBCA/IHSAA Charlie Hughes Showcase. This weekend, which is a live evaluation period for Division I college coaches, 170 of the best teams in the state of Indiana will descend on Carmel and Westfield High Schools for an absolutely excellent three days of basketball. Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer. However, before the event even starts, we will be rolling out content all week long to preview this outstanding event. Let's dive on in and take a look at 10 rising senior forwards that college programs of all levels will want to watch at the 2024 Charlie Hughes Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297097' first='Nathan' last='Baker']: 6'6" Power Forward (Fishers H.S. 2025) - Recently earning an offer from Bethel, Baker is on the board and will likely play his way into more opportunities between this weekend and the month of July. He has shown well in Fishers' front court so far this month as he begins to step into the void created by Keenan Garner's graduation. Absolutely one to watch this weekend at the Charlie Hughes Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297032' first='Trey' last='Dillard']: 6'6" Power Forward (Fort Wayne Wayne H.S. 2025) - Dillard just a tad undersized for a traditional interior player, but his production does not lie. He is consistently able to dominate around the basket and has done so while leading the Generals to back-to-back appearances in the Semi-State. The 6'6" forward averaged a double-double this past season of 12.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Definitely one for college programs to watch this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297005' first='Colby' last='Hall']: 6'6" Power Forward (Brownstown Central H.S. 2025) - After serving as a starter and key contributed on the Class 2A state championship team, Hall will be asked to step into a larger, more primary, role this year in the absence of Jack Benter. The 6'6" forward is up for the task with a unique offensive skill set. He is one of the best passers of any front court prospect in the class and can serve almost as a point-forward type of player in the half court initiating offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1907680' first='Cole' last='Henry']: 6'7" Power Forward (South Ripley H.S. 2025) - Still flying a bit under-the-radar, this versatile 6'7" forward has an important weekend ahead at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. He is a no-brainer for in-state NAIA programs with his combination of athleticism, length, and skill level offensively. However, he could potentially take his game to another level between this weekend and the month of July. Henry is an intriguing, high-upside prospect that has really flashed his ability throughout the spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297031' first='Henri' last='Maye']: 6'7" Center (Tindley H.S. 2025) - There are a lot of raw tools to like with this Tindley High School prospect. At 6'7", Maye runs the floor very well and is bouncy around the basket at both ends of the floor. What he can do vertically with his athleticism carries his game right now as he continues to develop his overall skill set. Above the rim finisher, rebounder, and shot blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id='2391211' first='Brad' last='Rohde']: 6'7" Center (Hanover Central H.S. 2025) - Rhode had a highly productive junior season averaging 17.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. The 6'7" forward has some bounciness around the basket and is very active on both ends of the floor. Under-the-radar big man for small college programs to follow this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1388408' first='Tre' last='Singleton']: 6'7" Power Forward (Jeffersonville H.S. 2025) - Singleton has had an excellent spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] which led to a handful of new Division I offers. One of the better rebounders in the class, the Jeffersonville product should continue to be followed closely by low and mid-major programs this weekend. He has continued to improve as a face-up shooting threat and is a very good passer as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1539483' first='Ben' last='Slagley']: 6'4" Power Forward (New Palestine H.S. 2025) - One of the most unique forwards in Indiana's Class of 2025, Slagley is an elite passer who can handle the ball like a guard and is very comfortable initiating offense. He is at his best when getting the rebound and pushing the ball up the floor in transition essentially taking over point guard duties. Slagley's combination of agility, strength, and skill is really intriguing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1278399' first='Wyatt' last='Weaver']: 6'4" Power Forward (Homestead H.S. 2025) - Weaver had a good spring and is poised to really breakout for the Homestead Spartans heading into his senior season. The versatile forward can attack you in a variety of different ways offensively and is switchable defensively. He is an under-the-radar prospect worth checking out this weekend for small college coaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='2056300' first='Trey' last='Yoder']: 6'6" Power Forward (Woodlan H.S. 2025) - A prospect we have remained high on for awhile at Prep Hoops Indiana, Yoder is an elite pick-and-pop threat. The 6'6" left-handed shooter can absolutely stroke it from beyond the arc but also is an excellent rebounder on the defensive end of the floor. That combination makes him an excellent small college prospect.
