We head into State Tournament week with another round of updates from a lighter week of spring/summer play!

Weekly Top Five

(1) WOTN Hannah

(2) J Sizzle Cruz

(3) [program_tooltip program_id='2075447' first='E1T1' last='']

(4) [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] Kuhl

(5) WOTN Foley

The Undefeateds

J Sizzle Cruz. A team to watch out for is J Sizzle Cruz. They get into local events here and there and win more often than lose. This past weekend they won all four of their games. They crushed Team Iowa and Team Get Shook while also beating Mid Minnesota and Old Gold out of Chicago by good margins.

WOTN Hannah. They went 4-0 winning the Select Holiday event and they did it convincingly! Three of the wins were blowouts and the one game that was not a blowout was the 16 point win over WOTN Foley from the same program.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075447' first='E1T1' last=''] won the second division of the Select Memorial Shootout evening out their record on the season and giving their program four wins! They won two very close games beating WOTN Roberts and the Hawks while blowing two other teams out.

A strong 3-1

WOTN Foley may not call their weekend great because they did lose to WOTN Hannah but on the flip side, we are starting to see comparable match-ups help make fields clearer. And Iowa United blowing out [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] and SW MN Stars where a team like Foley (and Minnesota Swish) taking United to the buzzer goes a long way in talking about how good they are.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] Kuhl was put in the bottom group of the Minneapolis Showcase in Chaska and they crushed a Sizzle team 94-21, beat the second Old Gold team out of Chicago and defeated Mid Minnesota in a six point game before falling to a good Beyond the Game team from North Dakota.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075681' first='Minnesota' last='Magic']. The Magic lost to that same Beyond the Game team from North Dakota by another basket than Kuhl did. Their wins were over the [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''], [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle'] and they beat that same Green team Kuhl did, 95-27. So quite comparable to Titans Kuhl.
