PH NorCal has updated our 2027 rankings. This is a group we hadn't seen until Spring season. Most of the prospects were contributors on their JV high school team while a few logged some playing time on the Varsity or were brought up late season for the play-offs. They will have plenty of opportunities to raise their status as we'll see more of them at the Varsity level. Here's the top group of newcomers in this class. PH NorCal tries to see as many prospects as we can.

He has decent handles pushing and passing in transition, with moves to create his shot opportunities with the dribble or working off ball. He finished drives off the dribble handling contact. He has good hops to finish at the rim. We saw him drop a couple of catch 3's from the perimeter, pull-up for mid-range jumpers. He's got the length and speed to fill the lanes, defend out on the perimeter, get steals, and help on the boards.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["2440136"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"He's a fast and speedy guard with plenty of moves and hard dribbles to finish around the basket when he goes by defenders, a floater, we saw his jump hook. He has that burst at the beginning, he attacks from multiple angles including the baseline, he gets up off two feet. He has the foot speed and determination to be a good on ball defender who can turn you, and generate steal, and turnovers.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2441000"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"He's kind of a newcomer to us. He played up on the Varsity a team we've seen before. This time we saw a prospect that's a pretty good shooter from behind the 3pt line. He's got that lil hop with a good release, he knocks down catch 3's from the corners, along the perimeter. He comes down court ready to knock down rhythm 3's. He's a ball mover, good passer. He cuts, and looks for open shots using screens. He's a shooter.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["2440131"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"At 6'5 he's a growing prospect, he got minutes on the Varsity. He's a screener, he rolls to the basket making himself a target to finish at the rim. His foot work is still in the developing stages but he moves okay going across the lane. He can use a dribble or two to attack from the high post, and the short corners, he had several attempts crossing the lane to finish on the left side. He runs the court, made good passes. He'll get rebounds.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["2440996"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"At 6'2 he plays a solid floor game from the guard position. He has a good set of guard skills. He handles the ball in transition looking to push and pass with good vision, or go all the way. He had good body control using his body to protect his dribble while attacking the basket sometimes finishing with Euro Steps, and floaters. He can play off two feet when he gets into the paint. He gives good effort on the defensive side.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["2443134"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"At 6'3 maybe, he's a bouncy, active prospect in the paint on both ends of the court. He's got the quick jump to snatch offensive rebounds, and take it right back up. He's an undersized post who'll get minutes because he plays with energy, and he's a good rebounder. He has the foot speed to defend multiple positions, but most of his work is done in the post. He has work to do offensively to expand his skill set.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["2441153"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"He's a strong quick guard with quality handles. He's still learning how to be a point guard, but he has the tools, a willing passer with vision. He's fast pushing the ball in transition, hard to contain when he changes direction with his dribble. He has the burst to go by defenders when he's working up top and off ball. He can get into the paint for kick-outs, dishes, and dump-off. He can stop on the dime for mid-range and paint jumpers, he'll challenge bigs in the paint, and hound ball handlers.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664e9f11ef758"} /-->
