SWFL 2027’s To Keep An Eye On This Summer, Second Five

The 2027 class is loaded with talent and it will be on full display this travel season, not only in SWFL but across the entire state. had a tremendous freshman campaign for the Pirates.  The 6'3u0022 CG is a very talented all-around player, and is a prospect with major upside.  His size and strength allow him to guard any position on the floor, and also makes him a huge asset on the boards both offensively and defensively.  He has the strong, wide frame of a big, with the skillset of a guard, which makes him a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses.  He handles the ball extremely well for a player his size, and can score inside with contact, or knock down the jumper with his much improved outside game.  Jenkins should be a household name in the area come next season, and really start being known around the entire standout freshman had a great first year with the Indians.  The 6'3u0022 SF is an active player with tremendous bounce and athleticism.  He plays the game with intensity and passion, and has fun every time he steps on the court.  Howard's size and athletic ability allow him to guard any position and he has knack for forcing turnovers and turning defense into offense.  He's an excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor and likes to push the ball, where he's outstanding in the transition game.  He likes to attack the basket and play above the rim, but has also developed a nice mid-range game to compliment it.  Keep an eye on Howard as he fine tunes his game and continues to see his stock rise into a major of the most athletic kids in his entire class, Gore is a standout at whatever he does.  Coming over to Verot from Dunbar last season, he contributed to a talented Vikings squad right away.  The 5'10u0022 CG is lightning quick and plays the game fast, and if he gets a head of steam he is extremely hard to slow down.  He has great handles where he likes to attack the paint and finish at the rim, or kick it out to an open teammate once the defense collapses.  He has tremendous bounce for a player his size which makes him a huge asset on the boards.  Defensively, Gore is a lockdown defender who will pressure you and be in your face for 94ft.  This is another prospect with major upside to follow throughout his high school is a talented young guard who saw great time with a successful FBA program last season.  He has a tremendous basketball IQ and just plays the game right.  He brings great size and length to the PG position, and has excellent court vision, making him a true floor general each time he steps on the court.  Taylor handles the ball extremely well, and doesn't get flustered, where he plays the game with a cool, calm demeanor.  He likes to attack the paint and knock down the pull-up jumper, but can also hurt you from deep with a solid 3-point shot.  Defensively he is quick with his feet and always has his hands up and in the passing lanes.  Taylor is a prospect with a ton of upside, who should be on a lot of coaches radars within the next couple finish at the basket but has also started to develop a solid outside game, where he knocks down the 3-ball at a high rate.  He's very active on the defense end and has quick hands where he has knack for getting steals.  Joseph likes to play with the ball in his hands, and is developing into a very nice passer.  This prospect has the physical tools already so continue to monitor him as he develops his game over the summer and into his sophomore
