Loy had one of the best performances I saw. He was great and got HOT from deep. He was knocking down shots from the volleyball line in transition, falling down, and in the paint in the middle of a ton of traffic. He was playing with a high level of confidence with the thought that every shot was going in and that was because most did. He had a bounce in his step and quick release. He was not the biggest player on the court but he had the biggest impact on the day for me.

A microwave scorer from the guard position, few players in northeast Ohio can get hot as quickly as Loy can. While Nova Village did a nice job of running Loy off the 3-point line, I was impressed with his mid-range shot-making with some contested buckets thanks to his soft touch. Against full court pressure defensively, Loy was decisive and got all the way to the rim multiple times for easy layups. Look for Loy to potentially be a breakout senior in northeast Ohio this winter.

Loy is one heck of a skilled player. He is a shorter player but he has the shooting ability to overcome that. He can shoot it from anywhere over the half-court line. He has a quick shot. Loy caught some serious heat in the game I watched and he could not miss. He is very fundamentally sound. He makes the right passes to his teammates.
