Cypress was on fire to start off the game for West Central United , and it was clear to see how he scored a school record 48 points in a game for Perham this past season. At around 6’4-6’5 he has a unique blend of size, shooting touch, and strength that proved tough to stop. He hit a number of pull-up jumpers early in the game, and from there started to get into his inside game. There were times where Cypress was simply bullying defenders out of his way to get to the rim, and from there it was simply laying the ball up for two points.

He is up to 6’4″ now. Thiel score from all levels & angles. With his solid frame, Cy takes advantage of smaller defenders and scores at the iron. He can play bully-ball at times. His biggest strength is his ability to change the game from beyond the 3pt arc. Thiel has a quick shot with a high release point, which allows him to get shots off smoothly. He leads WCU in scoring and continues to use his size and natural abilities to make the game easier for his teammates.

Getting downhill and scoring in transition seems to be an area where Thiel thrives. He has great mobility for his size and uses his strength to attack the basket. Thiel can show off some pretty acrobatic finishes in the paint. These nonstop attacks to the rim open up his three-ball. The 2027 shooting guard makes scoring look easy and makes some incredibly tough shots.

Cypress Thiel Cypress Thiel 6'4" | SG Perham | 2027 MN – Thiel a six-foot-three-inch wing from Perham showed off a solid right to left pull-up in the mid-range and some decent hands on a strip while locked one-on-one on defense. Spotted up Thiel’s shot looks good as he buried a corner 3 in one game.

Really like Cypress Thiel Cypress Thiel 6'4" | SG Perham | 2027 MN of West Central United . Has solid size for a wing/forward and battled for the ball and was also a knockdown shooter. High energy and efficient player. He was absolutely relentless on the boards and was a very good and athletic post defender.
