Another sub-6’0″ guard who checks in just outside the Top 100 is Rivera. He is a fast and shifty guard who gets downhill and scores as good as anyone in the state. Even though he was one of the best players in Class 1A and one of the highest scores in the state, this was my first time seeing Rivera with Denmark-Olar. Christian didn’t disappoint, either, going for 22 points and 6 assists. He is extremely fast with the ball in his hands, and although he can turn the ball over at times, the Vikings are fine with the chances he takes on the fly because of the potential reward. Rivera is as crafty as they come at the rim, but he will also hit jumpers off the bounce and set up his teammates.

Checking in right behind Gathers at #131 Overall is Christian Rivera Christian Rivera Christian Rivera 5'9" | PG Denmark-Olar | 2027 State SC , one of the state’s leading scorers this season. He put up 26.9 points per game, while also adding 3.7 assists per game and 4.8 steals per game for one of the best marks in South Carolina. Although undersized, Christian has extremely quick feet, hands, and reactions to set him apart from other sub-6’0″ guards in his class.

The junior guard put up 26.9 points per game, 3.7 assists per game, and 4.8 steals per game, pushing for the state lead in several categories. Rivera and the Vikings had a strong end to the region season, so look for them to build on it as the attention turns to 2026-27.
