Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Alexander is a long, lanky guard who plays with pace, changes speeds well, and makes great decisions with the ball in his hands. He’s an intelligent playmaker who doesn’t get sped up, sees the floor well, and he’s a tough finisher around the rim. With his size, he can usually shoot over his defender, and his length and athleticism allow him to defend multiple positions at a high level.

Prairie’s 2027 class is loaded, as you’ll see on this list, led by Alexander. Alexander is a long, lanky wing who can really create quality looks for himself and his teammates off the dribble. His length is a major asset on both ends of the floor, using it to provide versatility on the defensive end by getting into passing lanes or contesting shots. Offensively, he sees the floor really well and is a talented passer who likes to get his teammates involved. He averaged 8.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game as a sophomore.

I love watching Alexander play. A long, lanky guard who handles it well, absorbs contact around the rim and finishes through it, and is able to finish at really difficult angles around the rim, he’s a crafty playmaker who sees the floor really well. He plays with pace and has really long strides that he uses to get by defenders. He had 14 points and 4 rebounds on 5-6 shooting.
