Tyler Oakley may be listed at 6’3 but with his muscular build on the floor, he seems a little bit taller as he competes as it feels more like 6’5. Oakley’s height, shooting ability, and physical prowess make him a handful for defenders to guard. This weekend he was listed as a Top Performer in a game or two because of all of the things I listed above. He was definitely one of the more interesting prospects that I saw competing out of the 2026 Class, that has a lot of potential moving forward.

Physical 3-and-D prospect who already has the attributes you’d like in a collegiate player. He an exceptionally confident shooter both off the dribble and catch-and-shoot. Defense was just as impressive. Avoiding silly foul calls while keeping his body in front of defenders with good footwork.

6’3” SG for Illinois Mavs played up on the 17U circuit. Buried a pair of catch-and-shoot 3’s in the opening half while also getting guys involved as a passer. Grabbed an offensive board and followed that up with a fadeaway jumper later on. Defense improved as the game went on. Did a good job at keeping opponents in front of him in addition to some defensive boards. Then put-back an offensive miss to make it a one-score game in the closing minutes. Then hit a baseline floater to give the Mavs a lead in the final minute.
