Perkins was impressive at Prep Hoops Live. He was quick on the offensive end with a nice change of direction speed. Perkins was elusive with the ball and was able to create space. He was at his best with a 26 point game, going off for 18 in the second half.

The point guard from Carl Sandburg carried additional roles as his Chicago Lockdown team was missing a couple of key players. He’s the type of guard who likes to get the ball and go with it. In transition, he puts pressure on the defense with his vision, as Perkins can speed his way to the basket or find teammates in the open floor. His change of direction with the ball in his hands is a noteworthy skill. Perkins is a vocal leader as well, conducting the offense and alerting teammates on the defensive end.
