The lone 15 U game I caught featured the big fella Jones putting in work on the interior for his squad. The opposing team ran a zone defense where Jones worked to catch passes in the middle of the zone to either finish in the paint or find another teammate who is open thanks to everybody keying in on him. With a strong frame and hands, Jones had a nice and-1 finish on the block and was not afraid to use his height advantage in the paint. Nice upside with Jones if he can continue to work on defending on the perimeter as he already takes up a lot of space as a rim protector and defensive rebounder.

A long 3 man that possess soft poised touch in his shot. Great precision that is tough to guard because of his length. A solid mid range game. Tallied 14 points in the late morning Saturday game. Converted on dribbling middle for a floater from 5 feet and had two other turn around lay ins from same distance. Made a cool pull up jumper from the free throw line that rang true. Spotted up from 3 through the weekend as well and will be one to keep tabs on the North Side of Chicago.

2028. Jones stands at 6’3, he has an effortless shooting stroke and he can work by putting the ball on the ground, getting to his spaces where he is most comfortable. When you are talking about prospects and some with the highest potential that were there this weekend, Jones is in that conversation.
