About Jordan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

So far this season, I’ve played in 11 games — including 7 league matchups, 1 tournament, and 3 non-league games. I’ve had strong showings like 30 points vs Cheney Tech, 26 against Darien, 25 at McMahon, and 20 vs Conard. I’m averaging 8.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks, and I continue to grow each game. I protect the rim, stretch the floor with my shooting, and stay locked in on the defensiv

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m focused, coachable, and competitive. I stay calm under pressure and try to lead by example, whether it’s on defense, hustling back, or just staying locked in. I don’t need to be flashy; I care more about getting better every day and doing what my team needs to win. I show up, I put in the work, and I stay hungry.

Sutton, a junior forward out of Stamford High School, has the chance to break out this winter and announce his presence as the state’s top big man. An imposing 6’10” forward, he continues to expand his offensive game, showing some developing touch out to the three point line, a good feel for the game with his back to the basket as a scorer, and the athleticism to finish plays above the rim in space. Defensively, his combination of size and length allows him to be a terrific rim protector and one of the better glass cleaners around.
