Gallatin hosted all four Region 6 games Saturday, starting with the Antioch Bears versus the Green Hill Hawks.
Antioch (47) – Green Hill (59)
Senior Kenny Ellis Kenny Ellis 5'11" | PG Green Hill | 2024 State TN (Green Hill) scored 16 points in the win. Both Ellis and Antjuan Welch handled exceptional late-game fullcourt pressure from Antioch without crumbling. There was just a single turnover on the final two minutes by the Hawks. They also hit free throws late.
“I didn’t feel any pressure during the game,” said Antjuan Welch when reached by phone after the win. “I thought we were always going to win. If we stay composed like we did I feel like we can go to the State Tournament.”
Aaron Mattingly Aaron Mattingly 6'5" | SG Green Hill | 2025 State TN (Green Hill) lead the way with 18 points. Green Hill Head Coach Troy Allen is guiding the team as Ellis provides oncourt leadership.
“(Ellis) helps me out during the game,” said Welch. “He keeps me having a level head.”

Hillsboro (69) – Gallatin (44)
Hendersonville – John Overton
Beech (51) – Cane Ridge (48)
Odell Bradley IV Odell Bradley IV 6'2" | SG Beech | 2024 State TN (Beech) was magnificent in the opening 9 minutes. He did everything right. The unsigned senior lefty caught, collected, and lifted into high-percentage jumpers. The Team ran plays to get him in the right spots, but Bradley IV made the most of those opportunities. His greatest early game contribution was defense though. On one possession, Odell forced a quality guard Tyshaun Dewayne Poore Tyshaun Dewayne Poore 6'0" | CG Cane Ridge | 2026 State TN (Cane Ridge) to move the ball out of the matchup. In the dwindling seconds of the first quarter, the senior slowed the Raven attempt to go baseline to baseline just enough. The athletic, high-powered Raven offense only managed six points in the first quarter and Bradley IV was integral to that Beech success.
When Bradley IV pulled up midway through the second quarter, he hit another smooth baseline jumper from the mid-range. It tied the game at 13-13. He did make a mental mistake of trying to dribble upcourt against handsy defenders in the final 10 seconds of the opening half. The more controllable decision would have been to find an outlet receiver or just wait a tick or two.
Tyshaun Dewayne Poore Tyshaun Dewayne Poore 6'0" | CG Cane Ridge | 2026 State TN provided a couple of strong plays in a row late in the second quarter. Poore hit a challenging corner three-pointer and then forced a quick turnover immediately afterwards. The trademarked energy and quickness of Cane Ridge, with Tyshaun, helped the half end at 19-14 Cane Ridge’s way.
Adam Clark Adam Clark 6'2" | SG Cane Ridge | 2025 State TN (Cane Ridge) was tenacious again. The junior somehow plays a little faster than the already fast Ravens. Wonderful on-ball defense. Despite Clark’s tremendous effort and physicality, Bradley IV collected two with a patient left-foot jab step fake to begin a right-handed dribble into a 360-spin, subtle fend-off right arm and left-handed layup. The masterclass occurred with 1:46 left in the third quarter and gave Beech a 33-29 advantage.
In the last month plus, the Ravens have only lost 5 games, three of them to Hillsboro and the other two a combined five points. Of their last six losses, dating back to December 21st, four finished within 3 points or less.
