Small School Standouts – 1A Scorers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While much of the spotlight in HS basketball is shined on the big schools and the prep schools with talented players, we don't give the small town guys enough credit. 1A and 2A schools from underrepresented regions of the state have talented players, and this end of season wrap up series intends to highlight those. He's a scrappy guy who plays hard, knows how to get to his spots, and knock down jumpers from inside and outside the arc. He's very effective out of the post, with good touch and finishing ability over smaller defenders, especially with his 6'5, 185 pound frame. His ability to score efficiently as the focal point of his Queens Grant team has been impressive, with efficiency from the field. He's also made 48 threes over the course of the year, taking tough shots and showing he can make some of those. He should have a final opportunity to prove himself to coaches in the conference tournament if not the state tournament next week.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["2224167"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Ryan is another 1A standout from the Charlotte metro area as he is averaging just under 20 PPG over the course of the season. While competing against good competition in their conference, he's been able to stay efficient while taking tough shots a lot of the time. He averaged 21.3 PPG on 53% shooting from the floor, operating around the rim and the painted area for most of the season.
