Chad Graham | Prep Hoops Scout
Winning the state chip and earning MaxPreps Player of the Year were the culmination of all the work Taylor put in over the arc of his high school career. He went from this lanky wing as an underclassmen, to a read-and-react havoc creator as a junior, to the heart and soul of his team as a senior. As he grew into his body, things slowed down for him and he extended the range on his jumper. In Sanford’s biggest games, there Taylor was, snatching putback dunks or rejecting shots to give his team the edge. If he keeps his head down and continues to put in the work, he has a chance to be successful as UD and beyond.

The torch-carrier for Delaware’s 2025 class from the time he entered high school, Taylor will look to cap his career with a state tile on the home floor of his soon-to-be college program. A jumping-jack hybrid forward who’s gradually expanded his skillset over the years, he’s a consistent force around both rims with his explosive leaping ability and high-running motor. Taylor brings great versatility on the defensive end, able to slide up a position to bang inside and protect the rim or guard perimeter-based forwards and wings. The incorporation of a reliable standstill jumper has been the cherry on top. Taylor has the upside of a future key contributor for the Blue Hens, but a state championship is the first order of business.
