Scorching shooting opened the game, as the two schools combined for 15 points in the first 150 seconds of play. Webb eventually made their 10th three-pointer just 90 seconds into the second half.
Tahj Bowers Tahj Bowers 6'5" | PF Knox Webb | 2027 State TN (’27) completed a Herculean task of slowing down college-bound big Kenneth Chime Kenneth Chime 6'8" | C McCallie | 2024 State TN (’24) Tuesday. Chime found it unusually difficult to establish in the lane thanks to Bowers and Cam Swearengen Cam Swearengen 6'4" | SG Knox Webb | 2026 State TN uprooting him. He was not entirely stifled, but it was not the dunkfest he is capable of enjoying. Chime began to draw fouls on the Spartans in the fourth quarter.
In the last year Alexander Leeth Alexander Leeth 6'7" | SF Knox Webb | 2026 State TN added a lot of good weight, simply maturing into his tall, lean body. The sophomore projects as a sensational high-flying wing and yet he was constantly doubling down and helping out on Chime Tuesday evening. Long-term, he still needs to get heavier and hold his position in rebounding battles.
Owen Lentz Owen Lentz 6'0" | PG Knox Webb | 2026 State TN and Cam Swearengen Cam Swearengen 6'4" | SG Knox Webb | 2026 State TN kept hitting three-pointers, especially in the opening half. Despite their youth the two guards really buried the hosting McCallie High team in the second quarter.
