-This was my first time seeing Godette this season and he did not disappoint with his play at either end of the court. Godette got things going with a drive and floater off glass, banked in an elbow pull-up, face cut for a layup just before the 1H buzzer, scored another buzzer-beating bucket at the end of the 3Q, and attacked a long closeout with a baseline drive to draw 2 and drop off to big for the easy bucket. Loved the quick, assertive drives from the wing throughout the day as Godette got to his spots in the halfcourt.

Gabe was active all game long for PSB in their big win last weekend. He was the engine behind a lot of what they did both offensively and defensively. Always came away with big rebounds through the crowds and ignited the break with his speed in the open floor. Gabe showcased some sneaky handles that I didn’t catch last time out, seems to be working to improve his game with a big senior HS season approaching. If Gabe can maneuver his way to the cup and finish consistently as he did this past weekend, he should see ample time and opportunity to rise his ranks over the regular season.
