With the recent update of the class of 2024 rankings, we will take a look at how the rankings are broke down by position.

Here's a look at part two of the top guards in the class, ranking #15-#6 of the top point and combo guards in the senior class.

15) [player_tooltip player_id='2232334' first='Eiden' last='Harvey'] | 5'10” PG | Hermitage (#44 Overall)

Harvey has been excellent for Hermitage this year as one of the top guards in the Richmond area, and they've reaped the benefits with a good season. He's a quick twitch guard who can get to spots off the bounce, he sits down and guards the ball well and he can score it from multiple levels off the bounce.

14) [player_tooltip player_id='1259546' first='Jamari' last='Hodnett'] | 6'2” PG | Bishop Ireton (#36 Overall)

Hodnett is a throwback style guard who is a floor general and can impact the game without needing to score the ball very much. He has great feel and always sees his teammates when they're open, he handles pressure well and he's a lock down defender who guards the ball well.

13) Viktor Parsons | 6'2” CG | Western Branch (#35 Overall)

Parsons makes his debut in the rankings after he's put up huge numbers as a senior on a Western Branch team that has been ver good this year. He's a talented shot maker that can play on or off the ball, he's a dead eye shooter from deep and he's able to get to spots and create off the bounce for himself and others.

12) [player_tooltip player_id='2232365' first='Dekevion' last='Moore'] | 6'3” CG | Forest Park (#34 Overall)

Moore has shot up the rankings as he's having a huge senior season for Forest Park leading the team on both ends of the floor. He's a talented scorer who is quick off the bounce and finishes well at the rim, he can drill it both from deep and can make contested shots in the midrange and he's a lock down perimeter defender both on the ball and in help.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='1759750' first='Jayden' last='Johnson'] | 6'1” CG | Tuscarora (#31 Overall)

Johnson has had a huge senior season for Tuscarora pouring it in on a regular basis, and he's the type of player who seems to up his game against top competition. The 6'1” lefty can really shoot it from deep off the catch, he's shifty off the bounce and gets to spots and creates space and he has a lot of toughness to his game on both ends of the floor.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='1259544' first='Damon' last='Thompson'] | 6'1” PG | John Marshall (#21 Overall)

The JMU commit has been fantastic for JM as they've played perhaps the toughest schedule of any public school team in the country. He's a talented scoring guard who can get wherever he wants off the bounce and make shots from all over the floor, he can get hot quickly and take over games, he gets to the line often and he stays under control the whole time he's on the floor.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1117676' first='Josiah' last='Rickards'] | 6'3” CG | Catholic (#20 Overall)

Rickards is one of the best available players in the 757, as he has been a staple on this Catholic team over the past three years and regularly puts up big numbers. He's a talented guard who makes it look easy as he can create space and make shots from deep and in the midrange, he understands angles when he gets downhill and he does a little bit of everything to help his team.

8) Kennard Wyche | 5'8” PG | Varina (#19 Overall)

Photo: Lancaptures

Wyche has perhaps the best resume of any guard in the state, as he's a two time state champion and was named Class 4 Player of the Year as a junior, and has Varina set up to possibly do it again this year. While he's on the smaller side he's super crafty and tough on both ends of the floor, he changes speeds to get to his spots, he can score the ball and makes others better and he can guard the length of the floor.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='1580611' first='Kye' last='Robinson'] | 6'1” PG | Alexandria City (#18 Overall)

Robinson took a big jump in the rankings this time around as he's been nothing short of fantastic his senior season in perhaps the best backcourt in NOVA public schools. He's putting up big numbers as the senior leader averaging over 20 points and 7 rebounds per game, he can score the ball from all over the floor, he's a natural leader and he sets the tone on both ends of the floor.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1948399' first='Jason' last='Clarke'] | 6'0” PG | Miller School (#16 Overall)

Clarke is perhaps the best player on the east coast that still doesn't have an offer, as he has been out of this world for Miller School this year and has them as the favorite to win the VISAA D2 State Championship. He's a flat out hooper who can guard the length of the floor, handle the ball and initiate the offense and he can score the ball from all over the floor. He's a smooth operating guard who shoots it a high level and understands the game in a way that many guards his age simply don't.
