He's a confident shooter and doesn't mind shooting from way back usually catching his defender off guard with the distance he's firing from. He's leads his district in made 3 pointers and can go on insane streaks once he gets cooking. I've witnessed him knock down 6 and 4 triples from deep on different offseason but even on a off night he is good for 2/3. Blue is a nice sized combo guard who offers length defensively and is also explosive in transition. He should be on your radar today. His shot is pro, very quick release that looks very Steph Curry like and I haven't really seen another shooter in Texas that gets the ball out this quick. Not only with shooting beyond the arc but a sweet midrange pull up that's impossible to guard when it's falling. At 6'3 he's got a good wingspan that allows him to shoot over defenders off the dribble or in catch and shoot situations and he uses both. He knocked down 4 triples last time I caught him and led his team with 25 points. In addition to being a shooter he adds a extra rebounder and has crazy bounce allowing him to block shots on the defensive side as well. DJ should be a nice addition for someone next year and fore sure a sleeper in the 2024 class. He showed several glimpses of the shooter he could be and the question for this year was if he could improve on that with defenses knowing he can light it up. The answer is yes, Jordan has been consistent from the arc averaging 2/3 a game but has several games with 4+ triples. His release is clean and quick, impossible to guard you just have to hope he's a little off that day. What's most impressive is his IQ and spacing, he's able to plant himself in his shooting spot while teammates attack and knock it down weather a hand is in his face or not. Jordan is also a tough passer and crafty with his hands on the defensive side and in the trap. Only a 2026, he has the potential to end up as one of the states top shooter by senior year.
